Needs to be 15 years old by the end of the class.<\/p>\n
Pretest swim test: Swim 150 yards front crawl or breaststroke, then tread for 2 minutes without hands and swim 50 yards front crawl or breaststroke.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Swim from the shallow end to the deep end and retrieve a brick from the bottom of the pool. Swim on back with both hands within 1 minute and 40 seconds.<\/p>\n
The class material will be on the American Red Cross for review. After completing the course, one will receive five certificates: Lifeguarding 2 yrs, CPR, First Aid, AED 2 yrs, Blood Borne Pathogens 1 yr.<\/p>\n
